The airport is located 18.5 miles or 31 km south-west of central
Rome. It is Rome's main International and Domestic airport and as
such has good transport connections to the city centre of Rome.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Rail: The Leonardo Express train runs every half hour and takes 35 minutes to get to Termini Station. At €8.80 (approx. £6) one-way the train's cheaper, and much quicker, than the Terravisione shuttle bus.
Road: Taxi: Taxis to the centre are readily available from outside the terminal building. They take on average 45 minutes to reach the city centre and cost approximately between €40 - €50.
Bus: Terravision Shuttle services run to Rome Termini and Tiburtina daily, with connections to the metro A line at Lepanto. COTRAL runs a night service to Rome Termini and Tiburtina daily.
CAR PARKING
Multi-storey car parks A-D are directly linked to the terminals via pedestrian walkways; the long-term car park on the motorway from Rome to Fiumicino is served by a shuttle bus to/from the terminals. There are limited spaces at Terminal A and B for short-stay parking

Roma Ciampino airport is located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the centre of Rome. It is easily accessible by car, taxi, bus and rail.
The easiest way to get into Rome from Ciampino is to catch the Terravisione shuttle bus to Termini Station, which takes approximately 50 minutes. Bus departures are synchronized with flights, ensuring you don`t have to wait around long. Tickets cost €9.50 (approx. £7) one-way and €13.50 (approx. £9.50) return. It is also possible to catch the train or the metro, but you'll need to finish the journey with an additional bus trip.
