A spotlessly clean hotel, in great location run by friendly and helpful staff. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Use the Leonardo Express to get from the airport to the Termini station. Then use the metro, the hotel is just a short walk from Barberini station.
Top Tip
If you visit the Vatican then see St.Peters Church in the morning then visit the Vatican museum in the afternoon, the queue is much shorter.
If you want to change money to Euros then there is a Deutsch bank just a few yards from the hotel, we got a much better rate than in England. The best way to see Rome is on foot but beware the motorists have no respect for pedestrians, you need eyes in the back of your head.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but other than that everything was fantastic.
Fruit juices at breakfast were a little watery.
Top Tip
Pre-book a taxi from the airport to beat queue's.
A great little bar just across the street from the hotel - great for that little night cap! Fantastic meals at La Locanda del Tempio on Via di Pietra. Portions are big and prices are excellent.

The hotel was ideal for the purposes we wanted - a central position within walking distance of many of the sights and not overly expensive. Facilities are thin and the breakfast left much to be desired but the rooms are comfortable and it provided an excellent base. Highly recommended if one is 'doing' Rome.
Top Tip
Book a Vatican tour with an agency beforehand otherwise you waste hours queueing in the sun (or in our case, pouring rain).
Splash out on Le Fric restaurant - Via San Nicola da Tolentino - 5 mins walk from the hotel for a truly memorable, if very expensive meal.

Easy walking distance to spanish steps and trevi fountain, piazza navona is only 10 mins walk. The hotel is on a busy road which can make crossing a little tricky.
Top Tip
Castle St Angelo, offers amazing views of the city, the audio tour of the same was interesting but the view is the best we saw.

Excellent location midway between Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Wonderful character hotel with v friendly staff.
If you want a Marriot/Hilton bland brand where you could be anywhere then dont stay here but if you want a slice of real Italian hotel its a must.

HOTEL WAS LOVELY AND CLEAN AND CENTRAL ON THE HIGH ST. THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS THAT YOU CAN ONLY GET A COFFEE WITH BREAKFAST, THOUGH WE TOOK TRAVEL KETTLE THERE WAS NO OTHER WAY OF GETTING A HOT DRINK IN THE HOTEL.
THERE WAS BUILDING WORK BEING DONE AT THE HOTEL NEXT DOOR, THIS STARTED AT 8AM AND FINISHED AROUND 4PM, THIS DID NOT BOTHER US AS WE WERE OUT SEEING THE SIGHTS. THE BUILDING WORK WAS NOT TOO LOUD! STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH AND WERE ONLY TOO HAPPY TO GIVE YOU ADVISE/DIRECTIONS. YOU WERE ONLY 5 MIN WALK FROM FOUNTAIN AND SPANISH STEPS, WE TOOK A WALK TO ST PETERS AND THAT WAS APPROX 40MINS, THOUGH BUSES RUN EVERY 5 MINS, WE FOUND THIS HOTEL REALLY CENTRAL.
BREAKFAST WAS COLD BUFFET BUT THERE WAS PLENTY, ROLLS,JAMS, MEATS, CHEESES, CEREALS, CAKES AND COFFEE. WHEN WE WENT FOR BREAKFAST WE TOOK A FEW BITS FOR LUNCH.
WE WOULD GO BACK THERE AGAIN THE LOCATION WAS IDEAL.

TAKE A TRAVEL KETTLE!!
WHEN WE GOT OFF THE PLANE WE JUST GOT IN TO A TAXI AT THE AIRPORT AND WE GOT RIPPED OFF AS HE CHARGED US 70 EURO. THE HOTEL BOOKED US A TAXI TO GO BACK TO THE AIRPORT AND THIS COST 50 EURO. SO IF YOU ARE USING A TAXI CONTACT THE HOTEL BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL AND ARRANGE FOR A CAR TO PICK YOU UP.
REMEMBER THAT THE SISTINE CHAPEL CLOSES AT 12PM ON CERTAIN DAYS OF THE WEEK AND DOES NOT OPEN FOR THE REST OF THE DAY! CHECK BEFORE YOU GO!! AND IT IS WELL WORTH GOING! ALL THE SIGHTS IN ROME ARE AMAZING.
WE FOUND SOFT DRINKS TO BE EXPENSIVE.
DONT FORGET YOU CAN NOT BRING BACK DUTYFREE AT THE AIRPORT.
