| A traditional palazzo style hotel, which is harmonious with the surrounding architecture was built in 1910. The lobby is medium in size, with a dark panelled wood reception desk and flooring. The public areas are pleasantly decorated, with leafy plants, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are mostly medium in size and are in fair condition, as are the bathrooms. They are furnished with cupboards and beds made in dark wood. These look old and so give the room a tired, dull appearance. Rooms have parquet flooring. The doors are decorated with an original oil painting, depicting Roman scenery dating back to the 1930's. There is a pleasant but basic breakfast room on the first floor of the hotel with a terracotta tiled floor, and wooden tables and chairs. Part of this area is a roof terrace that is covered in the winter and only used in summer months when the covers can be removed. The breakfast area is across from this. |
