The Veneto Hotel is housed in a 6-storey Umbertine-style palazzo in central Rome, which dates from the very end of the 18th century. Long and narrow, with a small seating area at one end, the lobby is tiled in cream coloured stone, with pictures on the walls. In the middle of the hall there is also a glass skylight, creating a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The 123 guestrooms vary in size, from small to medium, due to the age of the building. All feature colourful Regency-style decor and furnishings. The en suite bathrooms are mostly tiled in white and all have a bath. Guests can enjoy drinks in the hotel bar, relax with a cappuccino and a newspaper in the air-conditioned lobby, and order light meals from the room service menu. The hotel’s restaurant is on the top floor and is extended in the summer months to form a roof garden. It offers both regional and international specialities and also functions as a breakfast room.
